I am inside the rehearsal process of my solo work terra to be performed at Holmes à Court Gallery, Goollaman/West Perth in January. Making solo work is an intimate process. It takes me deep into myself and into a keen relationship with my practice and what inspires and generates that. I have been creating terra over several years due to Covid and also the necessity to stay with something for a long time to realise the work and feel satisfied. Friend and colleague Nikki Heywood is directing the work and this is a grand opportunity for us to be in the studio together.
